Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Geospatial Mentor and Geospatial Friend are separate platforms operated by Gevolv.com (Mrunalini Pise, Wardha, Maharashtra, India) (“Gevolv,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). For privacy questions and requests, contact hello@gevolv.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, account identifier, and password verification data (a salted password hash; we do not store the original password).
- Learning and assignment content: questions and messages submitted to Chat, AI responses, Notes saved in your account, and, on Geospatial Friend, files, images and scripts you upload or attach.
- Billing and credits: credit balances, credit-use records, subscription status, order identifiers, currency, and payment status. Payment card or UPI credentials are handled by the payment provider rather than stored in the app database.
- Feedback: ratings and comments you submit.
- Technical information: information processed by our hosting provider and essential service logs, such as sign-in attempts, needed to run and secure the service.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- create and secure accounts and provide Chat, Notes, and learning resources;
- send questions to the AI provider to generate responses;
- process purchases, subscriptions, credit balances, and payment confirmations;
- respond to support requests, review feedback, and maintain the platform; and
- meet legal obligations and protect the service from abuse.
4. Service providers and sharing
We share information only as needed with service providers that help operate the platform:
- Google Gemini: the question and conversation context needed to produce an AI response are sent to Google’s AI service. Review Google’s applicable privacy terms for its handling and retention of prompts.
- Cashfree and payment partners: contact, order, subscription, and payment information needed to initiate and confirm a payment is shared with payment processors.
- Hosting and database providers: account, learning, and service records are stored by the infrastructure provider selected by the platform operator.
We do not store full payment-card credentials in the app database. Our hosting and database are located in India, so your information is processed in India. Google and Cashfree may process data in other countries under their own terms.
5. External links
The platform links to third-party job boards, recruitment agencies, courses, software, community services, and data portals. Those websites have their own privacy notices. We do not control their collection or use of information; check their policies before providing them with information.
6. Retention
We keep account, Chat, Notes, feedback, and billing records for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons. To request deletion, email hello@gevolv.com.
7. Security
We use safeguards intended to protect stored information, including password hashing and access controls. No online service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use a unique password and avoid including sensitive personal information in Chat or Notes.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact hello@gevolv.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law requires or permits it. If you are in India, you may also have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to complain to us first about how your data is handled.
9. Children
The service is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email hello@gevolv.com and we will delete it.
